<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid damage or collapse with respect to shaking of an earthquake or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A suspended ceiling configured by suspending a ceiling member 3 with respect to an upper layer part 101 of a structural skeleton via a plurality of suspensions 2 has a gap 4 corresponding to a width of the structural skeleton in a horizontal direction between a sidewall 102 of the structural skeleton and the ceiling member 3 and comprises an extension member 5 extending a total length including the suspensions 2 between the upper layer part 101 of the structural skeleton and the ceiling member 3 in an intermediate portion of the suspensions 2. The total length including the suspensions 2 is extended by the extension member 5, so that a shaking cycle of the ceiling member 3 in the horizontal direction is prolonged with respect to shaking of the structural skeleton in the horizontal direction. Further, the ceiling member 3 is separated from the structural skeleton via the gap 4. As a result, the ceiling member 3 hardly follows up shaking of the structural skeleton, an inertia force in the horizontal direction is reduced and shaking of the structural skeleton is hardly transferred to the ceiling member 3, thereby avoiding damage or collapse of the ceiling member 3 with respect to shaking of an earthquake or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
