<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus capable of calculating and predicting an accumulated amount of a waste toner inside a recovery container with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus comprises a cleaning device having: a cleaning blade for removing a residual toner on a photoconductor drum; and a recovery container for recovering the removed toner. The image formation apparatus further comprises: a measuring device for measuring a toner amount existing in a toner bottle; first calculation means for calculating a toner amount supplied from inside the toner bottle to a developing sleeve; second calculation means for calculating a toner amount transferred to a recording medium or an intermediate transfer body; and a controlling unit for outputting an information signal regarding the toner amount accumulated in the recovery container referring to the developing agent amount calculated by the first calculation means and the toner amount calculated by the second calculation means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
