<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual image display device capable of enhancing convenience. <P>SOLUTION: A virtual image display device 1 comprises: a pair of housing members 5 at least one of which houses an image forming device; a light guiding member for guiding image light from the image forming device to a predetermined position; and a pair of temples individually mounted in a rotatable manner to the pair of housing members 5 via individual hinge mechanisms. Each of the pair of housing members 5 is provided with: a contacting member 21 configured movable in a first direction D1 for regulating rotation of each of the temples; a position adjusting member 22 coupled to the contacting member 21 for causing the contacting member 21 to be operatively associated with movement in a second direction D2; and a mounting member for mounting the contacting member 21 and the position adjusting member 22 to each of the housing members 5.
