PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive guard rail which makes an energy absorption action generally great without deteriorating deformability of a beam part with an attached spacer such as a bracket, and which facilitates assembling work.
SOLUTION: In a guard rail, a beam is laid across a support via a bracket which is attached to the support by a shaft body directed in a beam laying direction. The bracket includes: a base end which is formed in such a manner as to be brought into circumferential contact with an outer surface on the road outside of the support; intermediate parts which continue laterally from the base end and which are formed in a face-to-face manner at an interval shorter than an outside diameter of the support; tip parts which continue from the intermediate parts and to which the beam is attached; hook holes which are symmetrically formed below an upper end of the base end and through which the shaft body is inserted; and guide holes which continue toward the tip parts from the hook holes and which are symmetrically formed in such a manner as to be freely brought into sliding contact with the shaft body. The length of the intermediate part is set to be a length which isolates the tip part from the support.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
