<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe roof construction method for solving a problem with flood in an arrival side tunnel while eliminating the need for ground improvement, and for enabling the fixation of the arrival side tunnel to steel pipes for a pipe roof with high structural reliability while permitting constructing errors even when the constructing errors existing in a start side tunnel and the arrival side tunnel. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe roof construction method comprises: a first step of constructing the plurality of tunnels side by side in a ground; and a second step of propelling steel pipes R for the pipe roof inserted through the start side tunnel into the ground to the surface of the arrival side tunnel or a position apart from the surface, constructing a pilot tunnel ranging from the start side tunnel to the arrival side tunnel for carrying fixing members 1 to the surface of the arrival side tunnel, and fixing the ends of the steel pipes R to the surface of an arrival side tunnel segment (steel segment) S via the fixing members 1 to form forepoling timbering between both tunnels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
