<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a stationary object in a roadway, and to support driving taken into consideration with an effect of the stationary object onto a vehicular behavior. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An object detector 10 monitors a front side of one's own vehicle by at least one of a camera 31 and a radar 32, recognizes an object in the front side of one's own vehicle by an object recognition part 13, based on an output from at least one of an image recognition part 11 and a reflected wave detecting part 12, determines which the object recognized by a movement determining part 14 is out of a moving object or the stationary object, and prepares intersection correction information taken into consideration with the effect of the stationary object by an intersection correction processing part 22, when determined as the stationary object.
