The vehicle (1) has a supporting device that is arranged at vehicle floor. The supporting device has an airbag (2), which is coupled with a sensor unit (1.3.2) for detecting a vehicle wheel (1.3). The airbag is released and deployed between the vehicle floor and a road surface (3) for stabilizing and braking of the vehicle during a detected defect of the vehicle wheel, particularly vehicle tire (1.3.1). Multiple vehicle wheels are provided corresponding to multiple airbags, where respective airbag is arranged in the immediate vicinity to the vehicle wheel. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a vehicle.
