A device and method are disclosed for automatically crediting an account using one type of currency by received currency of a second type presented. The device comprising currency receiving unit, account details receiving unit to receive details of an account managed in a second type of currency, calculation unit to calculate value of exchange of the first type currency in terms of the second type of currency and to calculate deduction of service commission, communication unit to communicate value of currency of the second type to be credited to a credit clearing service and computing unit to control the operation of the currency receiving unit, the account details receiving unit, the calculating unit and the communication unit.
