PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a caterpillar-type polishing paper for cleaning a glass substrate of a flat display is provided to generate no secondary scratch on a surface of a product to be cleaned when foreign materials are remained in a groove between polishing cells. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of polishing cells(10) is arranged in a plurality of rows(...Rn-1,Rn, Rn+1,...) in a longitudinal direction(T) and a width direction(L) on a base. The each polishing cell has a 3D structure. The each polishing cell has a front left lateral surface(11) and a front right lateral surface(12) in the front of a cleaning progressive direction. The front left lateral surface and the front right lateral surface are inclined to be spaced further from each other to a rear side from a front side of the cleaning progressive direction, thereby pushing foreign material separated from the product to be cleaned when cleaning to left and right sides. |
