<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus and a head-mounted display capable of suppressing heat transmitted to a user's head. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus used together with a head-mounted display comprises: an imaging part 221 for imaging an object in the view direction of a user; a drive part 222 for driving the imaging part; a radiator plate 21 for radiating heat produced from the drive part; a circuit board 22 mounted with the imaging part 221 and the drive part 222; and a second casing 232 which is a part of a casing for accommodating the circuit board 22. One end of the radiator plate 21 is seated inside the casing while the other end of the radiator plate 21 extends outside the casing. A part of the radiator plate 21 extending outside the casing is accommodated in a cover part. Radiation holes are provided in the cover part.
