<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high-quality lamination type gas sensor element by improving reliability in bonding between a zirconia-based solid electrolyte plate and an alumina-based insulating plate and preventing deterioration in insulation and occurrence of cracks of the alumina-based insulating plate. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor part 2 provided with a pair of electrodes 12 and 13 is provided on a surface of a zirconia-based solid electrolyte 11 and a ceramic body 21 constituting a reference gas chamber 22 on a lower surface of the zirconia-based solid electrolyte 11 is connected to a spacer layer 23 constituting a measured gas chamber 24. An alumina-based insulating plate, which is formed into the ceramic body 21 and the spacer layer 23, is configured by dispersing zirconia particles having an average particle diameter of 0.15 μm or more and 0.3 μm or less in a base material mainly composed of alumina. Of the zirconia particles, at least a part of zirconia particles present in the vicinity of an interface with the zirconia-based solid electrolyte 11 is bonded to zirconia particles in the zirconia-based solid electrolyte 11 beyond a bonding interface layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
