<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device, an imaging system, a lighting method, and a program which can perform moving image photography while radiating optimal light to a moving subject. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting device 3 is attachable to and detachable from an imaging device 2 and able to perform two-way communication with the imaging device 2, the imaging device 2 comprising: an imaging unit 21 having an optical system 21a which forms an image by collecting light from a prescribed visual field area and continuously generating image data of a subject by imaging the subject via the optical system 21a; and a focusing unit 27c for focusing the optical system 21a on a part of the subject by driving the optical system 21a based on the image data. The lighting device 3 comprises: a lighting unit 31 for radiating light toward the subject; and a lighting control unit 34 for controlling an irradiation position to which the lighting unit 31 radiates light based on positional information on a focused position by focusing unit 27c sent by the imaging device 2 when attached to the imaging device 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
