<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor in which the inside diameter of a case at an element fixing material portion is made closer to the inside diameter of a capacitor element. <P>SOLUTION: Heat radiation of a capacitor is improved in response to a requirement for improvement of heat radiation, in the context that, conventionally, an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is formed by winding a negative electrode and a positive electrode of aluminum foil with a separator in between to provide a capacitor element, which is then housed in a case whose upper surface is opened, and an open end of the case is sealed with a sealing plate to which an external terminal is provided. Here, fixing is performed by pinching the sealing plate by curling inward the open end of the case and an annular constriction provided near the open end of the case, therefor the outside diameter of the capacitor element is made smaller than the inner diameter of the annular constriction so that the capacitor element can be stored in the case. As a result, a gap is provided which is generated because of a difference between the outside diameter of the capacitor element and the inside diameter of the case, discouraging heat conduction because of spacing of the gap. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
