<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bill deposit/withdrawal device capable of improving working efficiency of a person in charge of maintenance and operation. <P>SOLUTION: The bill deposit/withdrawal device comprises: a lower unit that includes a stacker for storing received bills or bills to be discharged, a stacker conveying path section having a first bill conveying path for conveying the bills from the stacker or conveying the bills to the stacker, a tray for storing the stacker, a safe in which the stacker and the tray are stored, and attaching/detaching means including a first retaining mechanism and a second retaining mechanism for retaining the stacker conveying path section; an upper unit including a second conveying path connected to the first bill conveying path; and a control unit, when detecting that the retention of the stacker conveying path section by one of the first retaining mechanism and the second retaining mechanism is released, controls a release of the retention of the stacker conveying path section by the other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
