<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen the service life of a bearing, by preventing oil film shortage by intensively feeding oil to a crowning joint, in a cage for a roller bearing for holding a roller of applying crowning. <P>SOLUTION: This cage for the roller bearing includes annular ring-shaped side edge parts 12 opposed each other in the axial direction, column parts 13 for connecting mutual both side edge parts 12 at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction, and pockets 14 formed between the mutual column parts 13. An oil feeding groove 20 in the peripheral direction for connecting pockets 14 on both sides of the column part 13, is arranged on an outer diameter surface of the column part 13, a position in the axial direction of the oil feeding groove 20 is set in a position corresponding to the crowning joint 19 of the roller 15 stored in the pocket 14, and the oil is intensively poured into the crowning joint 19 via the oil feeding groove 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
