The invention relates to a sensor system comprising a signal processing device which is designed to evaluate, directly or indirectly, at least part of the sensor signals of the sensor elements (1, 3) together and the output signals of the satellite navigation system (4). Said signal processing device calculates and/or uses a first group of physical data variables, the values relating to a vehicle coordination system, and a second group of physical data variables, the values relating to a world coordinate system which is particularly suitable at least for describing the orientation and/or dynamic variables of the vehicle in the world. Said sensor system comprises an orientation model unit (9) which calculates the orientation angle between the vehicle coordination system and the world coordination system. |
