[Problem] To provide a method for automatically and precisely measuring a threaded element at a tube end subjected to a threading process, the measurement being performed on-line (threading process line). [Solution] The present invention provides a method for automatically measuring a threaded element at a tube end subjected to a threading process, on a threading process line (100) on which the threading process is performed to an end of each of sequentially supplied tubes (P). The method comprises: a cleaning step to clean the threaded tube end with a thread cleaning device (30); a drying step to dry the cleaned tube end with a thread drying device (40); and a measuring step to measure the threaded element at the dried tube end with an automatic threaded element measurement device (50). The tube end is placed under a clean atmosphere at least in the measuring step.
