PURPOSE: A method for quantifying slag in a blast furnace is provided to separate only slag without molten steel or cokes from a charged material sample taken at a winnowing machine of the blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: A method for quantifying slag in a blast furnace(1) as follows, a step for taking a charged material sample by inserting a probe pipe(5) in a winnowing machine(3) of the blast furnace; a step for separating slag and molten steel from the charged material sample by reacting the charged material sample in a carbon crucible at high temperature; and a step for removing cokes contained in the slag by cooling, crushing, and oxidizing the slag separated from the charged material sample. |
