PURPOSE: A device opening/closing a cover frame of a thermal printer is provided to smoothly open/close a cover frame with small power because a cover frame performs a lever role without a separate opening/closing button and additional device. CONSTITUTION: A device opening/closing a cover frame of a thermal printer comprises a printer body(10) and cover frame(20). The printer body comprises an accommodating unit(12). Roll paper is accommodated in the accommodating unit. A printer head frame(30) is fixed to the printer body. The head frame comprises a print head(31) and driving motor(32). The cover frame is opened/closed by a rotating motion around a rotational center shaft(13) for opening/closing on a top surface of the printer body. A hanging protrusion(33) is formed on a side of the printer head frame. A rotating member(60) receives arbitrary external force on a roller frame(40), thereby being assembled as a structure possible to rotate. The rotating member performs locking and unlocking functions by being interlocked with the hanging protrusion. |
