<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array substrate made of an insulator film formed from a radiation-sensitive resin composition having high radiosensitivity and allowing hardening at a low temperature, and a liquid crystal display device using the array substrate. <P>SOLUTION: An insulator film 12 is formed by heat hardening at a low temperature using: [A] a polymer including a structural unit having a group expressed by formula (1) below in an identical or different polymer molecule, and an epoxy group inclusion structural unit; and [B] a radiation-sensitive resin composition including an optical acid generating body to form an alignment layer 10 by low temperature hardening, so that an array substrate 1 is manufactured.
