The invention provides a novel container supply device. A plurality of containers are supplied to a star wheel through a supply conveyor without triggering container overturning or forming a bridge. The container supply device is provided with a door component capable of stopping container supply at will. In the container supply means of the inspection device, a pair of left and right guiding components are disposed on the supply conveyor and face towards the container supply direction and limit the convey width to a quite narrow state. Through the guiding components the containers on the supply conveyor are supplied to the star wheel and filled. Between the star wheel and the supply conveyor, the supply guiding component of a guiding access is disposed in a manner that the guiding component can move freely in a direction intersecting with the conveying direction of the supply conveyor. The guiding access guides the container to the periphery of the star wheel. The supply guiding component is provided with a door component for opening and closing of the guiding access. |
