<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an image display device or the like, capable of normalizing display processes within a minimum required time even when malfunctions of display processing sections occur due to various kinds of cause. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 10 having a first display processing section 20 and a second display processing section 30 performs an initial setting of the first display processing section 20 and inspects an initial setting state of the first display processing section 20. When the initial setting state of the first display processing section 20 is detected to be abnormal, the projector 10 performs again the initial setting of the first display processing section 20. Further, the projector 10 performs an initial setting of the second display processing section 30 and inspects an initial setting state of the second display processing section 30. When the initial setting state of the second display processing section 30 is detected to be abnormal, the projector 10 performs again the initial setting of the second display processing section 30. By inspecting the initial setting state and performing again the initial setting for each of the first display processing section 20 and the second display processing section 30, a time required to normalize display processes thereof is shortened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
