<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control device that is advantageous in appropriately performing an automatic stop of an internal combustion engine during deceleration of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic stop control means 22D during deceleration performs automatic stop processing for an engine 10 when a deceleration state of the vehicle is detected by a deceleration detection means 22C and it is determined that a condition for a stop during deceleration is met. A prohibition means 22F prohibits the automatic stop processing for the engine 10 by the automatic stop control means 22D during deceleration from the time when the vehicle starts traveling until the time when the vehicle experiences the automatic stop processing for the engine 10 by an automatic stop control means 22B while a vehicle is stopped, and automatic restart processing for the engine 10 by an automatic restart control means 22E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
