<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute nozzle check processing without deteriorating its accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A line inkjet printer 1 includes: an upstream nozzle check mechanism 43a for checking nozzle configuring a nozzle line of an upstream head unit; a downstream nozzle check mechanism 43b which is independent from the upstream nozzle check mechanism for checking a nozzle configuring a nozzle line of a downstream head unit; and a nozzle check execution part 27b for executing the nozzle check processing by simultaneously executing at least part of the nozzle check through the upstream nozzle check mechanism 43a and downstream nozzle check mechanism 43b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
