Provided is a protection structure which protects a corner of a case for a vehicle-mounted device and which can be assembled with improved efficiency. This specification discloses a protection structure for a corner (4d) of a case for an inverter (4) (vehicle-mounted device). The structure comprises a protector (20) which covers the corner (4d) and a receiving section (31) which is provided to the case. The protector (20) is affixed at at least two places located side-by-side in a straight line on a first surface (4b) adjacent to the corner (4d). The receiving section (31) is provided to a second surface (4a) adjacent to the corner. The receiving section (31) is provided at a position which allows the receiving section (31) to receive an edge (20a) of the protector (20) when the protector (20) is rotated about a straight line (Pv) passing through the affixation points (22) at the at least two places.
