<p>The nail (1) has a partial hollow shank (10) extending in an axial direction, and a locking bolt (5) locking the shank in a bone fragment (18) of a long bone. An inner section (14) i.e. single or multiple component lock, is arranged within the shank and movable in the axial direction by an actuator. The inner section has a fixing unit i.e. segment bolt (16), affixing a bone segment (18). The shank has an elongated hole (28) in an area of the inner section to enable passing through of the fixing unit. Another inner section (25) is movably arranged in the axial direction within the shank. An independent claim is also included for a modular system.</p> |
