Implantable cardiac therapy device

摘要

The cardiac therapy apparatus has ventricular assist pump which is connected to a ventricle of a heart to pump blood from ventricle into associated artery and to support/relieve ventricle. The cardiac contraction is stimulated by stimulation unit. A control unit is connected to stimulation unit for controlling ventricular assist pump, such that the stimulation unit causes a synchronized movement of the cardiac contraction, while operating cardiac assist pump in ventricle supportive manner.
