PURPOSE: A tour information providing system based on location data of an automatic navigator and a tour information providing method thereof are provided to supply knowledge related to tourist attractions by showing tourist attraction information of an adjacent area through an image and a voice by using the automatic navigator and a preinstalled A/V system. CONSTITUTION: An automatic navigator is initialized. The automatic navigator is turned on. An ON-state of a button for operating a tour information output system is determined. Power is provided to an A/V system. Whether a deviation between GPS location data and tour attraction data is in a set range is determined. The image and voice input of the A/V system are switched.
