PURPOSE: A data transmission method of a wireless communication system including a relay is provided to effectively transmit and receive data between the relay and a base station. CONSTITUTION: Two or more backhaul uplink sub-frames are successively arranged. A relay(210) transmits the backhaul uplink frame to a base station(110). A protection section in which one of the backhaul uplink sub-frames touches other backhaul uplink sub-frame is replaced to a backhaul uplink signal section. The backhaul uplink sub-frame is adaptively constructed. A backhaul uplink transmission process is executed by using the backhaul uplink sub-frame.
