A storage device is provided with a memory device for storing data which is read and written by a host computer, and provides the host computer with a memory area of the memory device as one or more volumes. A storage management computer is provided with a first memory which stores task information including operating and processing contents to the storage device and the scheduled start and end time of processing. When storing first task information in the first memory, if resources used for processing is the same for second task information stored in the first memory and the first task information, the storage management computer calculates the time required for executing the first task information and the second task information on the basis of the overlapped time of processing the first and the second task information. |
