<p>Process for the prodn. of solns. of acrylonitrile polymers (I), by forming a dispersion of the (I) in an aqs. salt soln. cong. less than the critica amt. salt (II) required to dissolve the polymer, forming a thin film of the dispersion and heating it under vacuum in a suitable apparatus to raise the concn. of salt above the critical value, to form a soln. of the polymer. Are conc. (ca. 50%) soln.s (dopes) of acrylonitrile polymers, useful eg. for the prodn. of fibres.</p> |
