Permanent formwork for concrete floors comprises inverted troughs formed of wood chipboard and having open or closed ends, the upper wall 1 being transversely corrugated. The side walls of the trough, and the end walls when provided may be of stepped form and may have vertical ribs 5. The side walls may be horizontally flanged at 12 and the end walls may carry downwardly extended flanges 7, Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown) at their lower edges. Troughs with closed ends are used to form cross-ribbed floors whilst open ended troughs are used for floors ribbed only in one direction. |
