<p>Process for isoxazolyl penicillin and esters.. M3A. Compounds (I) and their salts:- (where R=H or alkyl, R1R2=Ha Hal) are produced by reacting (II) with a chlorinating agent to give (III) then acylating with (IV) to give (V) and finally dephenylacetylating and hydrolysing to give (I), thus:- (M = metal, R' carboxylic protecting group, easily removable). The use of 6-amino penicillanic acid is avoided.</p> |
