<p>1,181,358. Moulded inserts for apertures in racket frames. CARLTON TYRE SAVING CO. Ltd. 3 April, 1968, No. 15931/68. Heading A6D. A metal racket frame having apertures therethrough for stringing is characterised in that a moulded insert is inserted in such an aperture in the racket frame, said insert being tubular and having an outwardly directed flange at one end and is characterized in that the unflanged end of said insert is tapered. After insertion into said aperture, the tapered end of said insert may be cut off so as to project from the inside of the racket frame. The insert is particularly suitable for metal racket frames and for those such as described in Specifications 1,112,028, 1,112,029 and 1,112,030.</p> |
