FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used in industry to remove organic components from mixture thereof with water, particularly for removing oil from an "oil-in-water" type emulsion, for example, for removing oil from a compressor condensate with oil lubricant. The method of removing organic components from a mixture of organic components and water involves passing the mixture through a vessel (3) containing organoclay (17) in a removable envelope (18) which is permeable for liquids and gases but impermeable for organoclay particles, or on a retaining structure (28) from which organoclay particles cannot escape, wherein some of the organoclay particles can be removed at any time, and forming stream of gas bubbles through the mixture into the vessel (3). The apparatus (1) has a vessel (3) with an inlet (16) for the mixture of organic components and water and an outlet (21) for removing the treated mixture. The vessel (13) contains organoclay (17), which is a product of reaction of clay with a quaternary ammonium compound, which is placed in a removable envelope (18) which is permeable for liquids and gases, or is placed on a retaining structure (28) from which organoclay particles cannot escape. The vessel (3) is additionally fitted with a means of forming a stream of gas bubbles through the mixture in the vessel (3), having a gas inlet (24).EFFECT: inventions cut the time for separating mixtures of organic components with water, uniformity of separating said mixtures which prevents pressure drop in the vessel (3).25 cl, 7 dwg |
