An imaging system for use on a vehicle, particularly a motorcycle, is disclosed. The system including a camera mountable on the motorcycle to capture image data relating to the view behind the vehicle. There is also an image processor for processing the image data and a display for displaying a representation of the view using at least some of the image data. The system further includes a turn detector mounted on the motorcycle for detecting whether the motorcycle is turning and to thereby provide turn data. The image processor receives the turn data and the image data, and in the event that the turn data indicates that the motorcycle is turning, processes the image data so that a portion of the image data which represents a predetermined portion of the captured image is displayed to the rider. |
