<p>PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE TAPE. F1-. Comprising a tape support of which at least one face is coated with an adhesive compn. comprising an elastomer having a Mooney viscosity of 40 to 100, a resin compn. contg. a major proportion of a high melting (>105 degrees C) resin and a minor proportion of a low melting (75 degrees C) resin and 0.5 to 5% wt. of an isocyanate. The ratio of high to low melting resin is 8:1 to 3:1. No material capable of reactg. with the isocyanate is present. The pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes of this invention have better shearing resistance and retention properties than known products, without sacrificing their adherence.</p> |
