Plant for continuous production of hollow blow - mouldings from thermoplastics

The plant incorporates an extruder which produces continuous hose. Equipment mounted on a transfer table stretches and separates a suitable length of extruded thermoplastic hose and transfers it to a blow mould of which a number are mounted on a rotating table. Blow moulds accommodate blanks in pairs. Completed mouldings are transferred to another rotating table which accommodates equipment for removing excess material, and for testing the tightness of the moulding. Faulty containers are rejected. This plant is especially suitable for blow moulding of vinylide chloride thermoplastics plastics which require stretching before moulding.
