Method and device for cross-node use of group performance characteristics in a communication system

The method involves signaling a state of a subscriber unit (T11) in a node (K1) to another subscriber unit (T2) in another node (K2), and displaying the state or a change in the state to the former subscriber unit by a display device i.e. LED such that use of the former subscriber unit is enabled by operation of an input component i.e. direct station select (DSS) key assigned to the LED. The latter subscriber unit or a group of subscriber devices are assigned to accept an incoming call from the former subscriber unit. An independent claim is also included for a subscriber device for cross-node use of group performance characteristics in a communication system.
