[Also in Divisions F2 and H2] The motor 7 of an electric shaver is resiliently suspended from a plate 4 whose edges are padded with resilient rubber or plastic 8 and located by lugs 9. The resilient material has a projecting lip 12 which engages a peripheral rim 11 (best seen in Figs. 2 and 3, not shown) to give lateral location and to seal the motor compartment 6. The casing is vertically split (at 3, Fig. 3) and a projecting tongue 13 on the lip 12 is gripped between them (in recess 14, Fig. 3). |
