A rotary compressor is provided to fix spring stoppers to cylinders for supporting vane springs, thereby preventing deviation of the vane springs during assembly thereof and improving reliability of the compressor. A rotary compressor includes cylinders(11) mounted in a casing and having compression chambers for rolling pistons(14) coupled with a rotation shaft of a driving motor to rotate. Vanes(15) are coupled with the cylinders to move straightly in the radial direction, being in contact with the rolling pistons. Vane springs(17) elastically support the vanes for urging the vanes toward the rolling piston. Spring stoppers(110) are coupled with the cylinders and support outer ends of the vane springs in the radial direction. |
