<p>The present invention relates to a target tracking system comprising tracking means arranged to perform model-based tracking of a target based on received measurements from a sensor. The target tracking system is characterized in that it further comprises: detection means arranged to detect as a target performs a manoeuvre; and output switching means arranged to switch from a first output mode in which model estimations of said tracking means are forwarded, to at least a second output mode in which only reliable outputs are forwarded, in response to information indicating the detection of a target manoeuvre being received from said detection means. The present invention also relates to a collision avoidance system, a method for tracking a target and a computer program product.</p> |
