<p>Video frames are projected by adjacent video projectors in a multi-projection system (fig. 1). Video frames to be projected are received by a video projector via a communication network (S510). A determination is made whether pixel information (e.g. luma and chroma components) belonging to the overlap region in the received video frames is missing (S520). If so, a control message is sent signalling the missing pixel information to the adjacent video projector (S540) and values are set for the missing pixel information (e.g. luma component is set to zero if missing). The received video frames are projected, including the set values in replacement of the pixel missing information, if any. The adjacent projector receives the control message (S620) and adjusts the values of the received video frames (S630) so that the missing pixel information is concealed when the adjacent projector projects the video frames (S640). Interleaving pixels prior to transmission may be applied to further reduce visual effect of errors (see figs. 8&9). Edge-blending may be applied to the pixels prior to projecting.</p> |
