<p>A cooling fan-equipped motor has a rotor, a front bracket and a rear bracket for respectively supporting the front side and the rear side of a rotating shaft of the rotor, a tubular frame for holding the stator therein and interconnecting the front bracket and the rear bracket, a box-shaped fan housing mounted to the rear of the rear bracket, and a cooling fan mounted in the fan housing. A rear wall section of the fan housing has a center closed section and a peripheral outlet section. The cooling fan is a centrifugal fan or a diagonal-flow fan discharging air from the radially inside to the outside, is mounted to the center closed section of the rear wall section, and has an outlet air flow path having a predetermined gap and provided between the outer peripheral section of the cooling fan and a peripheral wall section of the fan housing.</p> |
