According to the present invention, the system and method for supplying the fuel gas to the high-pressure gas injection engine are provided, wherein a fuel gas supply system for supplying LNG as a fuel from an LNG storage tank to the high-pressure gas injection engine is used to supply the LNG to the high-pressure gas injection engine, and wherein at least one machine from the machines that are included in the fuel gas supply system and through which the LNG passes when the fuel gas is supplied, is cooled by using liquefied nitrogen, and the LNG is used to maintain the cooled state of the at least one machine.
