FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of sheet materials from translucent thermoplastics, particularly, to moulding articles from organic glass and may be used in whatever industry, particularly, for making aircraft and other vehicle glazing parts. Method of making bicurvature glazing parts comprises heating sheet workpiece and bending it to single curvature, fixing bent workpiece in contour frame, heating it in thermostat to softening point, and shaping it as required by pneumatic moulding with subsequent moulding of edges at sealing points at temperature below softening point. Before pneumatic moulding, workpiece is additionally heated locally in zone of required thinning to temperature 10±5°C higher than that in thermostat. In fixing single curvature workpiece in contour frame before pneumatic moulding, it is required to bend additionally the workpiece straight edges. Moulding of edges at sealing points should be performed at glazing inner surface model and combined with annealing of parts. Note here that space between workpiece and glazing inner surface model may be evacuated.EFFECT: aircraft canopy glazing.4 cl |
