发明名称 HIGH-POWER LED LUMINAIRE HAVING A MODULAR, EXPANDABLE MECHANISM.
摘要 The invention relates to a high-power LED luminaire for public lighting. This product may replace lamps including metallic additives, as ell as incandescent, magnetic induction, mercury steam, and sodium steam lamps. Due to the design, the lamp has carcasses which were designed for maximising the air flow and the thermal exchange between the luminaire and the environment. The use of individual diffusers for each LED makes it possible to obtain a light pattern similar to the I/SI type, which is ideal for public lighting. Every PCBA can be exchanged individually, which allows the luminaire to keep working even though the board stops working for some reason. The method for exchanging the LEDs boards is simple and only requires removing the plastic device having built-in diffusers. Once said components have been removed, the PCBA can be unscrewed from the base thereof in order to be replaced. On the other hand, each PCBA board is supplied with a current controller in a direct manner for p roviding a better supply and then ensuring a high performance; both the upper carcass and the lower lid were designed in such a manner that the temperature within the luminaire is suitable for the operation of the same. The temperature for operating the power LEDs is very important since the useful life, bright and colour of the LEDs may be considerably affected in case the temperature is increased. The temperature range of operation must be of from about -40 to about 85°C. Temperatures different from this temperature rage may cause the premature death of the power LEDs. The top casing comprises outer and inner projections which improve the temperature exchange with the environment, reducing the operating temperature of the LEDs. The bottom lid has at least one groove that allows air to circulate, also reducing the operating temperature of the LEDs. The grooves of the lower lid would be covered by the inner portion thereof with a mesh which may only promote the air flow and prevent re sidues damaging the components of the luminaire from entering.
