PURPOSE: A brake booster for a vehicle is provided to increase rigidity while reducing the weight thereof by reducing the thickness of a cell because a tie rod receives the reaction force of a master cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A brake booster for a vehicle comprises a casing(100), a diaphragm(110), a valve body(120), an input rod(130), an output rod(140), and a tie rod(150). A front cell(101) and a rear cell(102) are coupled to form the casing. The diaphragm comprises a power piston(111) to partition the inside of the casing into a static pressure chamber(103) and a variable pressure chamber(104). The valve body comprises an atmosphere passage(122) for selectively supplying atmospheric pressure to the variable pressure chamber. The front end of the input rod is arranged in the cylinder formed at the center of the valve body. The output rod is connected by a reaction disc arranged at the center part of the front end of the valve body. The output rod receives power depending on the displacement of the power piston and the diaphragm, and transfers the force to the master cylinder.
