PURPOSE: A vehicle lamp malfunction safety providing device and a safety providing method thereof are provided to secure safety by using an additional emergency rear lamp. CONSTITUTION: First terminal and second terminals supply battery power to a vehicle lamp(200). A switching part(300) supplies the battery power to the vehicle lamp. A control part(400) controls the switching part in order to switch into the second terminal. An emergency switching part(600) supplies battery power to an emergency lamp(700) for the rear of the vehicle.
