PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display device is provided to reduce the time for charging electrophoretic dispersion liquid. CONSTITUTION: A partition and a pixel electrode are formed in a lower substrate(100). Electrophoretic dispersion liquid is filled in pixel regions. A first solvent is volatilized by using a drying process. A common electrode(220) and a sealing layer(230) are formed on an upper substrate(200). A second solvent is filled in a sealing pattern(240). The partition is in contact with the second solvent(100). The second solvent is filled in the partition with constant pressure.
